Meet Carter!





This beautiful boy is five years old. Nobody was willing to pull him because he is a bit older, but rescue finally stepped up to the plate. Rescue has just pulled him, but have just been informed that he is a HIGH heart worm positive. He is truly a sweet boy who needs a second chance! He is the shelter favorite, and he loves everybody. His treatment is going to be over $1,500 and any donations will be truly appreciated. This dog deserves to be loved and taken care of so he can move on & find a forever home!
Please help this boy! Any donations will help!

Has the rescue looked around to compare prices? $1500 seems very steep - one of the shelters around here has a low-cost clinic, they do HW treatment for $300 (3 treatments of Immiticide).

yes I agree, there is a vet in md that does it for 250.00!
