This picture was in one of our local newspapers here in Northern Virginia on Monday.
What a heart breaker!!!!!!!
I hope and pray that one of the animal rescues down there have saved this devoted, loyal furbaby.
I donated to Noah's Wish Foundation, it is all I can do, but my heart
aches for all the deserted furbabies who are still lost,
hungry, scared and dying.
I look at my furries and my heart just flows over with love for them.
May all the lost and hurting find someone to love them and
may the ones who are loved be reunited with their family!

A Faithful Dog
A Faithful Dog Will Play With You
And Laugh With You -Or Cry-
He’ll Gladly Starve To Stay With You
Nor Ever Reason Why,
And When You’re Feeling Out Of Sorts
Somehow He’ll Understand
He’ll Watch You With His Shining Eyes
And Try To Lick Your Hand.

God, Bless the Animals...
Many of Your creatures, God, are without safe places to live.
Wild or domesticated, they have no safe haven,
no other creature to love them and to help care for them.
Bless those animals today, God. Especially help the animals
that are in our animal shelters to find their right and
perfect owners. Shelters are far from a natural environment,
and those sweet animals are waiting patiently to move on to
their right and perfect homes. Please awaken in the hearts of
those who have homes to share a desire for a pet of their own.
Help them to realize the wonder of sharing their lives with a
loving animal and the gifts that they will receive in return from
a loyal and caring pet. Bless those who care for the animals
in our shelters, God. Remind them to always be kind to the
strays, to treat them with love and respect while they wait
for their new owners. Every animal deserves a loving caregiver,
God, and every caregiver deserves a loving pet.
Help each to be drawn to the other in Your Divine Order today.
Thank You, God. Amen.
