Here is a message from Jen who worked so hard for the last 2+ yrs to get Simba back from Ramapo in New Jersey. I'm attaching a link to Simba's reunion photos. Great job Jen and to everyone else involved!! Merry Christmas!
Message From Jen:
Simba Hurricane Katrina Pitbull reunited with his family!
Hey everyone please check out the new pictures of Simba being reunited with his family after 2 long years of being rescued during the floods in New Orleans. This is a very special case that I have personally worked with. This shelter that had him did not want to go give him back to his family. Finally the day has come which was yesterday! His family is making a Simba myspace page I will let all you know when up and running. We need all your comments and support so this never happens again in our country. All the Love,
Jen

| That's great that he was reunited with his family! Did he get neutered while in the rescue in New Jersey? I just hate to see people breed pit bulls when there are SO MANY pit bulls in shelters that have to be euthanized due to the lack of homes for them all. |

why did the shelter not want to give the dog back to the family ?
what was wrong with the family ?
and i would hope that if this shelter had this dog for two years they
would have had him neuutered.
does anyone know ? _________________

This is so strange just seeing this here today, a couple of hours ago I was clearing out old photos from my photobucket account, many months ago I deleted hundreds of katrina cat and dog pics, I kept a handful of specail ones that I thought I may need one day, Simba was one and so was Snoop, well today I decided to delete them and took one last look at this boys face, never imagining I would read this tonight.
Poor Old Snoop is the only one I kept I have never forgotten his poor elderly owners.
